So you’ve got some trendy facial fuzz and want to proudly flash it around over the holiday season. There’s admittedly no better way to bring out some festive spirit than to put on a set of Christmas lights, bright-colored toppers and lavish tree ornaments – and round it all off with some Beard Baubles. A collaborative effort by designers Mike Kennedy and Pauline Ashford and UK-based Grey London advertising agency, these innovative beard ornaments went viral soon after the first pics were uploaded on Instagram and the company’s now struggling to cope with the multiplying orders arriving from would-be fuzz-loving trendsetters around the globe.
Initially designed as a cute bit of holiday decorations to be featured on the company’s Christmas card for loyal clients and other agencies, these metallic clip-on beard accessories turn men’s bushy facial hair into glittering centerpieces in their own right, all with the aim of spreading around some vivid Christmas spirit and festive cheer. The proceeds of the sale will be donated to Australian melanoma charity Beard Season that provides information about the disease and assists individuals afflicted by it. As part of its campaign, the Australian charity prompts men to grow some facial hair in wintertime and thus raise awareness of the deadly skin cancer.
Each Beard Bauble pack includes 14 multi-colored ornaments that easily attach to the beard – or even your dog’s fur. The bauble sets are all sold out for the time being due to high demand, but if you are eager to add a special touch to your glorious facial fuzz this Christmas, place your order now and keep an eye out on the company’s website for first fresh supplies.
