December is the month when Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall hosts this exciting festive event. Trees at Boardwalk Hall are decorated by neighborhood businesses, groups, and even private citizens in support of CASA for Children of Atlantic, Cape May, and Camden Counties. Plan your entertainment schedule around one of the holiday organ recitals that are going to be held almost every day at Boardwalk Hall, which include traditional Christmas tunes performed on the amazing, colossal pipe organ that serves as one of the venue’s focal points, for The Merry Best experience.

December 1–31 during regular business hours in the lobby. Organ recitals are held every day from the 11th of December through the 5th of January, from 12 to 12:30 p.m., with the exception of New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. Attending the event is completely free.

Luminary Lights Festival

This is an event for adults that will transport you back to your childhood! Celebrate the start of the holiday season with the Luminary Light Festival at Absecon Lighthouse. Enjoy a wine and cheese sampling, light yourself a luminary, and take in the beauty of the historic Absecon Lighthouse adorned for the holidays.
