We have seen and featured many camping tents so far but this one blew our mind. Why? Not only does it provide shelter for you, but it also protects your motorcycle from the elements. It kind of doubles as a tent and a makeshift garage and we salute the company – Redverz Gear – that came up with this innovative idea. The tent is called Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent and is a perfect solution for bikers who want to keep their two-wheel-babies in sight at all times.

Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent sleeping quarters

The 54 square feet of sleeping quarters this tent has can take up to three adults

Not only does the Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent provide a protective bay for your motorcycle or whatever piece of equipment you are taking with you, but it also has pre-hung sleeping quarters (spanning 54 square feet) that can take up to three adults. Plus, there are 23 inches of additional sleeping room. There is also a separate quarter where you can store your boots, tools, helmets and gear in general. The tent comes with a mosquito net, inner pockets, a carry bag and four doors for individual entry.

Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent size

Amazingly, a tent of this size can be packed in a compact 21″ x 9″ pouch

The interior of the Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent has a 10.000mm-expedition-grade waterproof floor, a large vestibule-style door that increases airflow and provides protection from bugs, and a garage for your motorcycle with a ground cloth that reduces condensation. The Atacama Expedition Tent is also customizable and you can even remove the motorcycle bay if you don’t need it. It comes in two colors – green and yellow. Last but not least, the tent packs into a compact pouch (21 x 9 inches) together with poles and pegs. Its packed weight is only 14lbs (or 6.5kg). [via] watch video below
