Today’s piece of good news for audiophiles is that the leading U.S. manufacturer of high-end car audio equipment and mobile multimedia Alpine Electronics finally decided to jump on the headphone bandwagon and has officially announced its first set of premium cans called simply Alpine Headphones. According to general first impression, this headphone set combines first-class aesthetics and advanced audio technology to deliver the ultimate listening experience, allowing you to perceive your music in a completely new, more immersive way. So, how does it work? Let’s find out.

“Breaking the paradigm of how playback is done, we are delivering the first headphones that deliver a real audio experience. This experience immerses users as they feel, hear and see their music,” President of Alpine Electronics of Silicon Valley Tom Yamasaki says.

Featuring an integrated 24-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC), dual 40 millimeter high-performance drivers with built-in amplifiers and digital signal processors (DSP) for supreme sound quality, Alpine Headphones sport the state-of-the-art Full Frequency Immersion technology that aim to simulate the experience of listening to a live performance, which is primarily achieved by means of the unique sound field expansion system and pulsing bass transducer fitted in the headband that allow you to feel the music beat in your core and reverberate through your entire body.

On top of that, Alpine’s first headphone set packs Bluetooth LE which lets you pair your headset with the Level Play iOS companion application that lets you fine-tune your bass and EQ settings on the go for fully programmable audio processing (customized settings are sent from your iPhone to the headset via Bluetooth Low Energy). The Level Play application also automatically scans your music library and organizes the tracks into customized playlists based on energy level for hassle-free playback in any given mood. Furthermore, Alpine Headphones come with an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can provide for some 10 hours of playback and can be easily topped up via the included USB charging cable.

Design-wise, Alpine headphones live up to their well-known premium traits with iconic diamond-shaped ear cans, crisp and refined angles, smooth and precision-molded curves and emblazoned Alpine logo. Available in Apollo white or Onyx black, the Alpine headphones look pretty stylish and distinctively sharp, which means that you will both look sophisticated and feel great when toting them around. In the box with your Alpine set and the USB charging cable, you also get the iPhone- and iPad-compatible audio cable with remote and microphone and soft headphone carrying pouch.

So if you’re ready to take in some rich and deep audio you’ve never experienced before, all you need to do is pop around your local Apple retail store or order your Alpine set online, download the Level Play application from iTunes App Store℠ and enjoy the ambience of a private nightclub, live concert or dance party right there between the cans. watch video below
