We’ve featured some amazing electric motorcycles in the past, but as technology progresses, we become more excited. Electric motorcycles are making leaps and bounds. They are becoming smaller, more powerful, and have longer ranges per charge. One such awesome looking motorcycle is the Aero E-Racer.

The Aero is a collaboration with the Italian InMoto magazine and various other Italian manufacturers.

However, it is the brainchild of Tacita Motor who also manufactured the T-Race; the T-Race was the first electric motorcycle to attend in a rally.

The Aero E-Racer is a sleek and powerful urban commuter. It has a range of up to 40 miles and can charge within 35 minutes if used on a Level 2 charger.

The Aero E-Racer features an electric asynchronous three-phase induction motor with an aluminum body. It also features three mappings; Eco, Urban and Boost. In addition, this motorcycles features a 5-speed gearbox with a hydraulic clutch. It also utilizes a liquid type cooling system for the motor and controller. Check out the video below.

The Aero features an iPhone-based dashboard. It also has a GoPro mount so that you can record all of your rides.

Besides that, the Aero features a 5.3kWh Lithium Polymer battery and has a battery life of up to 4000 cycles. Impressively enough, this motorcycle boasts a max power of 55 kW and a max torque of 120 Nm. It also features a max rpm of 9000 revolutions. The frame has been constructed from split chrome-molybdenum and it features a Kevlar, carbon fiber and 3D printed nylon for the body.

All in all, with a range of about 40 miles before going to reserve power and being approved for a passenger, the Aero is a smooth and sleek urban commuter. It can also charge at high-power stations within 35 minutes.

The hefty Öhlins pressurized nitrogen shock ensures that you have a smooth ride. The Aero also features Brembo brakes on a Wave disc.
