Adidas Originals By White Mountaineering FW16 At Pitti Uomo

Adidas Originals teamed up with Japanese brand White Mountaineering for the FW16 collection. It was presented at Pitti Uomo 89 as the “Designer Project”. The spectacular presentation included 25 models wearing the new collection that focuses on the fabrics, construction and technical features.

White Mountaineering design philosophy is “One, design. Two, utility. Three, technology”. All three are incorporated into a contemporary design followed by recognizable three stripes. The collection combines sportswear with urban style and includes new tracksuit jackets, pants and tights.

The designer Yosuke Aizawa from White Mountaineering said he has spent a decade figuring out the best way to incorporate two styles into a contemporary collection and the result was shown at this brilliant fashion set. “Instead of doing the usual fashion show, we are thinking very deeply about how we can best express the originality of thinking that comes through our collaboration,” he said regarding the presentation.
