Suri Chair Collection by Portuguese Designer Pedro Gomes

“Less is more” is a motto which perfectly describes the Suri Chair, designed by Portugal-based designer Pedro Gomes. This bentwood chair has a soft, light, subtle and wonderfully simple yet striking design. Through different combinations of woods, upholstery colours and materials (fabric or leather), supports and legs, Gomes has managed to make each chair from the Suri Collection reflecting a different mood.

This elegant chair has two parts – curved back and a seat which is gracefully arched to create arms on either side. The materials used are wood laminates, while each chair is upholstered in different colour. The designer describes the collection as “a unique experience of delightful comfort. Designed for different environments, Suri translates versatility into 3 emotional moods.”

Because of their minimalist design, the chairs from the Suri Collection are a great fit both for home and office. The Suri chair can have metal (six options, including a chromed or painted finish) or wooden base (stained or painted option).
