There’s a thumb trigger mechanism near the handle that’s used for controlling the flow. It also dispenses fuel that’s at the bottom of the can, so you don’t need to bend over. Once you place the nozzle in the right position, just press the trigger to get the gas going. The great thing about it is that it can be operated one-handed, so it makes it easier to use. Until you get used to it or you’re using a bigger can, you can use the other hand to hold it.
