The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck | By Mark Manson

$11.99+

Mark Manson is a blogger who has made quite the name for himself. He managed to do this with his raw, direct, and somewhat profane style. We remember reading his blog with the same name a few months ago. It was a very humorous and direct read. Now, Mark has finally published his long-awaited book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck!

In fact, this book was written so well, that it has reached the coveted New York Times Bestseller status!

Mark’s view is that we focus too much on self-help guides, and that we need to stop trying to be “positive”, so that we can actually start becoming happier and better people.

Contrary to most self-help guides, Mark does not believe that positivity is the key to happier and richer life. He says, “F*ck positivity. Let’s be honest, shit is f*cked and we have to live with it.”. In the same tone as his blog, Manson delivers his raw, direct, style that is riddled with foul humor. It is refreshing, and non-sugarcoated, and perhaps that’s a dose of advice that we all need.

Manson’s argument, which is backed by academic research and delivered with some foul humor, is that improving our lives isn’t dependent on turning lemons into lemonade, but rather to learn how to stomach the lemons better. As he says, “not everybody can be extraordinary, there are winners and losers in society, and some of it is not fair or your fault.” He goes further to advise us to get to know our limitations and to accept them. It is only when we embrace our faults, fears and the unknown, that we can start to face the truth.

So, if you were looking for a brilliant read that is packed with unique advise to truly become a better and happier individual then this book is for you!
