The Salvo 12 Shotgun Silencer is very helpful because it will, first and foremost, protect your ears. Some people choose to use ear plugs or earmuffs to save their hearing while shooting from a shotgun, but in some occasions it is not very convenient to block your hearing completely, because besides the shotgun noise you will miss all the other sounds. Whether you are hunting or protecting your home, you will want to hear what is happening around you.

Salvo 12 can suppress sound down to 137 dB at the muzzle, which is below the level when you should use hearing protection (set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration). Also, you can choose its length, weight, and the level of sound suppression simply by adding or removing sections. It can be 12, 10, 8, and 6 inch long, and weighs from 1.2 to 2 lbs- depending on the length you choose.

All you need on your shotgun is a choked barrel, and an appropriate adapter, since that is how Salvo 12 is attached to firearm’s choke thread.
