OSTRICH PILLOW

$99.00

The Ostrich Pillow was designed by Kawamura-Ganjavian in collaboration with Studio Banana Things and the prototype generated a lot of hype on the internet. This kind of a response encouraged the Ostrich Pillow creators to start their own campaign on Kickstarter in an attempt to turn this concept into reality.

The whole idea was inspired by the discovery that power naps – short naps that do not last long enough for the sleeper to fall into slow-wave sleep (SWS) – actually increase productivity up to 34%. This propelled the designers to create a pillow that would make these usually pretty uncomfortable yet amazingly refreshing naps more soothing. The idea kept developing and it lead to this comprehensive power nap product.

Napping in public places usually isn’t easy, but the Ostrich Pillow helps you completely disconnect from everything around you visually and sound-wise. In addition, it allows you to have a bit of private space amidst any crowd. Moreover, with the dimensions of 36.8 x 12.7 x 30.5 cm at the most and the weight of just one kilogram it is very easy to carry anywhere with you.

If anyone doubts the value of this product, they should know that there have already appeared fake versions that made the designers issue the following warning:

‘We want to warn our supporters and fans that there are fraudulent copies being sold on the internet and we are extremely concerned about this criminal activity. STUDIO BANANA THINGS cares about the quality of its products and we do not want to see disappointed people deceived by fake counterfeit imitations. Should you wish to clarify any concerns you have regarding the legitimacy of your purchase please feel free to mail our team via sales@studiobanana.com. Please choose wisely and if in doubt drop us a line.’
