Since the Kabuto Ibuki Helmet promotes the ventilation system as ‘’Ibuki’’ is Japanese for ‘’breath’’. There’s an upper ventilation system and a lower ventilation system. The upper ventilation system features two large horizontal vents, one in the front and one in the rear. The inside of the helmet is designed with intake ports and open channels in the EPS so there’s no blocking by the liner material. The upper vents provide great airflow and even when all the vents are open, the noise levels don’t get as loud as with some other helmets.

As for the build quality, the Kabuto Ibuki helmet ranks high up and is considered premium. The interior is thickly padded to increase comfort and reduce the noise while the ventilation system provides good air flow. The design is also very good and the helmet is available in pearl white, matte black, metallic black, aluminum silver and yellow. The rotating flip-up visor will stay firmly in place when it’s raised to the upper position while you’re refueling or talking. The removable 2.4mm thick face shield is very functional as it can be open and rested on the friction holding tab.
