Lenovo Smart Assistant | Raising The IQ Of Your Smart Home

IoT (Internet of Things) devices have been trying to make our homes smarter since the advent of Amazon’s Echo and a variety of other devices. However, there has always been two major problems. With a consideration to customer’s needs, Lenovo teamed up with Amazon to include their Alexa cloud-based voice services into their Smart Assistant.

The Lenovo Smart Assistant was designed to recognize users voice commands and it uses Alexa to give you a variety of options. It allows you to conduct web searches, create lists, play music and it provides calendar updates, but that’s only scratching the surface. You can also purchase the Smart Assistant in a Harman Kardon edition. This is specifically designed for premium audio quality, and home entertainment.

In addition, the Lenovo Smart Assistant comes with eight 360-degree far-field microphones. These microphones have been coupled with noise suppression and echo cancellation. They can also pick up your voice commands from up to 16 feet away. You can also purchase the Smart Assistant a special Harman Kardon edition. This gives you premium audio quality for music and entertainment.

Another interesting feature is the fact that the Smart Assistant offer “Smart Storage”. The Smart Storage means that your Smart Assistant has a 6TB cloud-based memory, that gives you multi-device auto-sync capabilities. [via]
