LAND ROVER DEFENDER CELEBRATION SERIES

Land Rover Defender Celebration Series is Land Rover’s absolutely amazing way of celebrating a continuous run of 67 years since the production of their legendary Defender model started and sadly the last year they will be selling it. Namely, they decided to create three limited editions of this iconic vehicle for this very special occasion – The Autobiography, The Adventure and The Heritage.

The Heritage Edition

Every one of the new models has a different focus. For instance, The Heritage represents the older Land Rover models with the Grasmere Green exterior, heritage grille, graphics and headlamp surrounds, the contrasting Alaska white roof, heavy-duty steel wheels, silver bumpers and of course the body colored mud flaps. This model will be available from August at the price of about $42,000. Also, Land Rover will produce only 400 of those, in both 90 and 110 bodystyles, so if you think this is the right one for you, you better hurry up.

The Autobiography Edition

The Autobiography is totally different from the retro themed Heritage model. It features luxury features, such as Windsor leather interior with aluminum highlights, duo-tone paint and the power upgrade, which consists of boosting the engine from 122 hp to around 150 horsepower and the torque from 265 lb/ft up to 295 lb/ft. Of course, all of this comes with a price – there will only be 80 of these made and 90 units for the Station Wagon format. They will be sold at $94,000 a piece.

The Adventure Edition

The last, but not the least is The Adventure edition. It offers everything a person who enjoys off-road adventures needs. Its main features are the durable underbody protection, rear access ladder, famous Goodyear MT/R tires, a sump guard, unique decals, sill protectors and the interior done in Windsor leather, with stunning Bright aluminum clock and Ebony Alston headlining. There will be 600 Adventure units produced in Corris Grey, Phoenix Orange and Yulong White color schemes, in both 90 and 110 Station Wagon bodystyles. This unstoppable off-road model’s price is said to be around $66,000.

Sadly, this is a definite farewell to all of Land Rover Defender models, but it is presented in a stylish and glorious way that even those who indescribably love this awesome vehicle cannot feel anything but joy while looking at this limited edition. [via]
