Barebones Living introduced a new Chopping Axe, made for handling wood in the mountains. The split blade is forged from 1055 high carbon steel. There’s the wooden handle with a 1/3” solid steel core and it secures the head with a hex bolt. The weight of the head is evenly distributed making it easy to swing and maneuver. Besides the axe, you’ll get a nice leather sheath and a hex key. As for the dimensions, it measures 24 inches by 12 inches and weighs 5.55 pounds.

7 – The Killing of a Sacred Deer

A trailer for The Killing of a Sacred Deer, a new movie, is out and it marked the last week. This movie comes from Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of Lobster. It stars Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman as well as Barry Keoghan, a kid last seen in Nolan’s masterpiece Dunkirk. This psychological horror movie has been described as “a full-throated horror movie,” “an unfettered nightmare,” and “a cruel treat.” It follows the story of “Steven, a charismatic surgeon, that is forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice after his life starts to fall apart when the behavior of a teenage boy he has taken under his wing turns sinister.” The movie comes out on October 27.
