One of the premium leather companies in the US – Chicago-based Horween – has been making the finest leather goods for nearly a century. Thanks to collaboration with Worn & Wound retailers from Brooklyn, New York, the two came up with a leather watch strap that quickly became a real hit – Horween Leather NYC NATO strap, available in three manly colours – black, graphite gray and olive green. NATO straps are produced under strict quality control, and made from the Essex and Snuff Suede leather entirely in the US. They fit just about any wrist watch, and their rugged yet stylish look will satisfy most tastes.
The manufacturer and the designer have chosen the Suede and Essex leather for their suppleness, softness and comfort. The edges of the NYC NATO strap have been left unfinished on purpose for that military-inspired look. The straps have black stitching right through, and can be ordered in two variations – black PVD hardware or matte steel. Whether you are leaning more towards business casual or street attire look, with the strap as good as the Horween Leather NYC NATO, even the plainest of wrist watches will look modern and luxurious. If you are short on inspiration, go to Worn & Wound’s website for matching suggestions.
The strap’s dimensions are 292 x 2 mm (11.5 x .08”) and it is currently available in the lug widths of 20 and 22 mm.
