BRUSH CREEK LODGE

see link

At first glance, the Brush Creek Lodge and Spa in Saratoga, Wyoming, might look as your typical ‘dude’ ranch because of its masculine (hunting, fishing, archery, paintball) appearance, but you couldn’t be more wrong. Although, you can do all those things at the ranch, throw away all of your preconceived notions – this is a truly luxurious resort with activities and amenities that are of exceptional quality. The Brush Creek Lodge and Spa spans unbelievable 13,000 acres and sits at 7,500 feet altitude.  The ranch is about four hour drive from Denver, and an hour and a half from the Laramie Airport.

The scenery will be the first thing that will make you gasp in amazement. This is real Wyoming. The incredibly beautiful Medicine Bow National Forest, all 2.9 million acres of it, and the Sierra Madre Mountain range both border the Brush Creek Lodge and Spa. This pristine and almost uninhabited area is also home to abundant wildlife – marmot, mountain lions, deer, moose, antelope, praire dogs and many other animal species.

The food and accommodation at the Brush Creek will make you fall in love with the place even more. Meals are served in Trailhead Lodge, built in the traditional Western style, with chunky pine timbers, 28-foot ceilings, an open fireplace and huge windows. You can choose anything from fried chicken and scrambled eggs to chili shrimp and elk tenderloin. The ranch has special venues scattered throughout. There is Corriente Private Dining Room which is perfect for private get-togethers and gourmet dining, the Chuck Waggon is ideal for family fests, while the Saloon offers some good old American West fun with its swinging door, jukebox, pool tables, and a fireplace. The ranch’s guests can also choose from 800 bottles of the finest wine.

The accommodation at the Brush Creek Ranch consists of nine luxury Log Cabin Residences (they range in size from two to three bedrooms, and they all have fully equipped kitchens and dining areas), and cabin rooms and suites which are all decorated in a very unique style. The amenities here are as plush as the lodgings – King, Queen, and Twin Beds, bathrooms with heated floors, four-hundred-thread cotton bed linen, cast-iron wood burning stoves and fireplaces…. The list goes on and on…. Oh, let’s not forget! Since the ranch is in a very remote location, there is no cellular service so you can have a truly relaxing holiday.

Also, there are a total of 35 activities at the ranch for you to enjoy. Yes, 35! From Polaris Ranger ATV tours, skeet shooting, paintball, zip lining, and horseback riding to fly fishing, yoga (on the platform above a spectacular canyon), indoor rock climbing and scenic river floats.

And, at the end of the day, treat yourself to a massage in a Teepee. watch video below
