Bobtail | A Skateboard Attachment Strollers

Taking your kid out can be more fun than you think. There’s a new Kickstarter campaign for a stroller attachment that will make this task more efficient and enjoyable. According to the guys behind it, Bobtail is the greatest thing since babies.

What Bobtail does is it transforms a typical BOB into a utility scooter. One of the best things about it is that you can attach it in just a few seconds. Also, in order to do that you won’t be needing any tools, just a standard BOB you’re already using. The company plans to expand this idea to other stroller models in the future.

Bobtail is a stroller attachment that’s portable, super easy to use and will make the entire ride much more fun and enjoyable.

So, what does this attachment look like? It features a main tubular spine, wooden deck, a pivoting front bracket for attaching it to the stroller, and a rear wheel that has a friction brake. It’s very easy to both install and remove it. After you’re done using it, simply store it in a closet or under a bed to save space. Because it’s very portable, it can easily fit in any trunk. As for its capacity, Bobtail can support up to 250 lbs.

A solid tire is there to provide a smooth ride and almost no maintenance. This applies to the fender brake as well. Of course, it’s of utmost importance to keep the ride as safe as possible. So don’t go crazy on it and use it on steep downhill surfaces. Finally, once the campaign is finished, you will be given the option to choose the color. This way, you can pair it with the color of the stroller.
