The Cyclades islands in Greece will take your breath away with their allure. According to the Greek mythology, Poseidon, God of the Sea, furious at the Cyclades nymphs, turned them into islands. This cluster of islands is considered one of the most beautiful island groups in the Aegean Sea, known for its perfect sandy beaches, traditional white and blue architecture and dazzling resorts like Anemi Hotel.

This four-star hotel is situated on the island of Folegandros, which is considered the epitome of unspoiled Aegean authenticity, only 300 metres from the beach. True to the spirit of the Cyclades, the hotel has been designed in stark and simple manner by Alexandros Samaras. It covers four acres of land, located just above Folegandros’ main port – Karavostasi. Anemi consists of twelve two-storey buildings with forty four comfortable rooms and suites, surrounded by exquisite fragrant gardens.

The rooms at Anemi, decorated by Stavros Papagiannis, in a minimalist, almost utilitarian style with pure white walls, soft furnishings and luxury bed linens are the perfect backdrop to blue skies and white sandy beaches. They include amenities like laundry service, air conditioning, a whirlpool bath, a satellite TV, a hair dryer, a mini-bar with premium brands, a DVD player and a safe-deposit box.

Anemi Hotel also has a wonderful infinity swimming pool, tennis, paddle and squash courts and a fitness centre. The hotel is child-friendly and has an outdoor seawater children pool, an open air children cinema, a playground and baby & child care services.

Last but not least, there is the delicious Greek food prepared by chef Vangelis Driskas with fresh, locally grown products. The hotel is proud of the fact that the only ingredient that it imports to the island is exceptional virgin olive oil, Andelea.
